Conflict Resolution Counseling Activity Pack Wild About I-Statements

I-statements are a great way to teach children how to problem solve independently! Students follow a fill in the blank format to state how they are feeling, why they are feeling that way, and a solution to help them react differently next time. Following a set format makes it easier for younger students to practice important conflict resolution strategies.

This activity can be used individually or with a small group of students. For a classroom setting, I think it would be great to hang on a bulletin board so the students have a constant visual reminder of how to express their feelings and problem solve without consulting the teacher.
